Welcome! I’m Nicole, and I’ve been on this incredible journey of healing and self-discovery for many years. Since my spiritual awakening, I’ve dedicated myself to guiding others on their unique spiritual paths. As a psychotherapist since 2008 and a spiritual coach since 2000, I draw from the traditions of deep psychological insight and spiritual wisdom to help you connect with your inner gifts and navigate life’s challenges with clarity and purpose. Whether you’re seeking healing, growth, or a deeper connection with your true self, I’m here to support and guide you every step of the way
Spiritual awakenings can be intense and overwhelming, especially when individuals experience shifts in perception, heightened sensitivity, or profound emotional and mental changes. It’s not uncommon for people to feel disoriented or question their sanity during such times, as the experience can challenge their existing worldview. Sometimes, spiritual experiences might mimic symptoms that could be mistaken for mental health conditions, like schizophrenia, which involves disturbances in thought processes, perceptions, and emotional responsiveness. The key difference often lies in the distress and dysfunction these experiences cause.
Schizophrenia, for example, typically leads to significant impairment in daily functioning, whereas spiritual awakenings, though overwhelming, often lead to a sense of expanded awareness and growth once integrated. It’s important to seek guidance from both spiritual mentors and mental health professionals if the experiences are confusing or distressing, to differentiate between a spiritual crisis and a mental health issue. Balancing both perspectives can help make sense of the experience and ensure that the person is getting the support they need.
I will be sharing my experiences on this website in the hopes that if anyone has similar experiences they can not only have those experiences validated but they can ask questions about those experiences. My spiritual awakening began when I was in a hostile environment and before I went to school to become a psychotherapist. I did question my sanity and tried to shut it down. At the same time, the person I was in a relationship with almost had me convinced I had multiple personalities.
It was only after I left the toxic and abusive relationship and found a group of like-minded individuals that my experience changed to one of great growth, acceptance, and contentment. I am now able to feel gratitude for that toxic relationship as it was the catalyst for my gifts to be realized. Again, it is my hope that my journey can help another. I am not here to argue your beliefs or try to get you to believe what I believe. I want you to find your own truth and I hope I can help. Having said that, I offer this helpful suggestion: Hold onto your beliefs loosely for you may have to release them…and oh what a ride it will be!!!
